Boys & Girls Club of Hawthorne has been a cornerstone of the community since opening it's doors in 1947. Serving some 1,600 youth annually, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hawthorne provides a safe, structured and positive environment for young people after school, during holidays and summer vacation.
The Boys & Girls Club of Hawthorne is part of a nationwide network. Located in every state, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands and U.S. military installations overseas, Boys & Girls Clubs are delivering proven programs to millions of young people every day.
To inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens.

Hours of Operation
Our hours of operation are from 7:30am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday during the school year for After School Program activities; evening programs continue until 9:30 pm . Our hours of operation are 7:30am to 6:00pm during the summer when full day Summer Camp programs are held. During the school year, we also provide before school care for Hawthorne elementary school students at each elementary school and provide an After School program at Lincoln Middle School. We recently expanded our programs to include students in North Haledon and provide After School care at High Mountain Middle School.
