Teen Director
The Boys & Girls Club of Hawthorne is seeking an energetic, dependable, and passionate Teen Director to lead our middle and high school programs. This full-time position is responsible for creating a safe, welcoming environment where teens can build confidence, develop leadership skills, and have fun through engaging after-school and summer programming.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead programs for youth in grades 6–12.
- Program include but not limited to: After School Program, Summer Camp, Social Recreational Programs, Athletic Programs & Events
- Build positive relationships and serve as a mentor and role model.
- Supervise members and ensure a safe, inclusive environment.
- Organize leadership, recreation, educational, and community service activities.
- Maintain attendance records and program documentation.
- Communicate with parents, schools, and community partners.
- Assist with special events, field trips, and Club-wide activities.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Experience working with youth or teens preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Must successfully pass all required background checks.
Position Details:
- Full-time, salaried (40 hours per week)
- Salary: $37,000–$40,000 annually (based on experience)
